Do these tools work for mobile devices?
Yes! You'll have access to tools made specifically for mobile devices like the Mobile Share Bar and the Mobile Follow Bar. These tools only appear on Mobile devices while all the others only appear on Desktops. The pop-ups and Welcome/Subscriber bars are responsive and will adapt themselves to different screen sizes.

What is Dark Social?
Dark social describes the “invisible” shares and referrals that happen through channels like messengers, but also email and text messages. For the Vendasta team, that referral will come up as “direct,” even though she didn’t type the whole link into your browser. What kind of data is tracked by the analytics?

GetSocial tracks all the social traffic and interactions happening on a website: shares made through the social buttons and by copy-pasting the URL, as well as the traffic resulting from those shares. The way our analytics track data allows a proper attribution of Dark Social traffic, which means it is accurately identified in the analytics that certain shares happen on Dark Social channels.

However, no personal data is tracked, so this solution can be safely used on privacy-sensitive websites, such as healthcare businesses.
